What is happening in 2012
The UK is the host of the summer Olympics in 2012. The Olympic Games will take place from the 27th of July to the 12th of August 2012.
The majority of tickets have already been allocated. Some tickets are said to be potentially available through travel agents and tour operators.
Most events will be taking place in East London. Sailing will take place in Weymouth Bay and Portland Harbour in Devon
London has a large selection to suit all budgets. However hotel prices are saud to have risen during the period of the Games.
